Medical Emergencies

These conditions are all classified as medical emergencies.  Be sure to contact a veternarian immediately if you suspect your dog as suffering from any of the following:

    • Apnea

       
    • Bloat (Gastric Torsion)

       
    • Burns

       
    • Choking

       
    • Congestive Heart Failure

       
    • Coma

       
    • Drowning

       
    • Electrical Shock

       
    • Frostbite

       
    • Heat Exhaustion

       
    • Heatstroke

       
    • Hyperthermia

       
    • Hypothermia

       
    • Intestinal Obstruction

       
    • Kidney Failure

       
    • Lacerations

       
    • Poisonous Substances

       
    • Respiratory Ailments

       
    • Seizures and Convulsions

       
    • Shock

       
    • Stroke

       
    • Trauma

       
    • Upper-Airway Obstruction
